Black and white photograph of the interior of the re—creation of Lincoln's log cabin at the Forbes House Museum. The photograph shows a fireplace, two chairs, a bench, and many pictures on the walls. On the wall of the log cabin is written: "Built by Thomas S. Murdock for Mary Bowditch Forbes." The frame is wooden.

This photo gives a glimpse into the interior of the cabin while Mary Bowditch Forbes was alive. She graced the walls with elements of her collection, which are now safely stored in the museum's main building. Most all of the images pictured here remain in the FHM permanent collection, including the large oval print of President Lincoln hanging above the fireplace mantle. The actual work of art can be seen in this exhibition to the left.
