part by financial support from: |
$75,000 - Save America’s Treasures
grant administered by the
National Park Service - Department of the
Interior

The Federal Save America’s Treasures program
began in 1999 to mark the beginning of the new
millennium. It is one of the largest and most
successful grant programs for the protection of
our nation’s endangered and irreplaceable and
cultural heritage. Grants are available for
preservation and/or conservation work on
nationally significant intellectual and cultural
artifacts and historic structures and sites. |
$75,000 - Massachusetts Historic
Commission

The Massachusetts Historical Commission (MHC)
was established by the legislature in 1963 to
identify, evaluate, and protect important
historical and archaeological assets of the
Commonwealth. The Massachusetts Preservation
Projects Fund (MPPF) is a state-funded 50%
reimbursable matching grant program established
in 1984 to support the preservation of
properties, landscapes, and sites (cultural
resources) listed in the State Register of
Historic Places. Applicants must be a
municipality or nonprofit organization. Historic
cultural resources in public and nonprofit
ownership and use frequently suffer from
deferred maintenance, incompatible use, or are
threatened by demolition. |

Foundation
The Tomfohrde Foundation may make grants "…for
charitable purposes or to charitable
